Administrative Assistant - Stony Brook Psychiatric Associates, UFPC
Location: Stony Brook, NY
Schedule: Full Time
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:Job Duties & Essential Functions:
- Assists in the overall operation of the office.
- Answer patient calls and process Cerner pre-registration forms
- Assist in handling consults/referrals from other departments
- Answers telephone calls and takes and routes messages.
- Interfaces with providers and patients.
- File mental health and administrative correspondence for the MBCRC
- Obtain records as needed
- Coordinate scheduling and maintenance of group psychotherapy programs
- Aid in the coordination of providers schedules including tracking patient volumes
- Assist providers in group psychotherapy programs
- Aid in the collection, monitoring and analysis of patient data
- Update and maintain databases.
- Support clinical projects and quality improvement initiatives
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Three years Administrative/Clerical experience.
- Must have excellent expressive and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Administrative Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
