Licensed Professional Counselor/LPA/LMFT

MUST HOLD A LICENSE TO PRACTICE INDEPENDENTLY, NO INTERNS.

Location: HV Mental Health and Wellness Center: 2300 Highland Village Rd, Suite 210, Highland Village, TX 75077

Job Position:

Licensed Professional Counselor, Psych Associate, /PLP/Post-doc fellow. (Full Time Position).
Will consider part-time on an hourly basis for the right candidate.

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time/part-time.
Work Remotely: In clinic, but a few remote sessions are fine.

Qualifications:

LPC license in Texas.
LMFT- Licensed clinician or LPA.
Relevant state license and board certification.
Experience working as a psychologist or LPC.
Strong listening, observation, and communication skills.
Licensed independent practice clinician in mental health.
Experience across the age span is preferred.
Experience with EMDR is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Individual, group, and family counseling.
Will meet with individuals across the age span with varying diagnostic presentations.
Work with a team of individuals in a private practice setting.
Crisis intervention when needed.
Clinical documentation.
Animal-assisted therapy.
Trauma-informed therapy.
Forensic therapy for court-ordered individuals.

This is a faith-based practice. We are looking for an independent licensed counselor to join our team to provide counseling services to our patients across the age span.
