About Job

Make a Difference Every Day with Achievement Behavior Services (ABS)!

At ABS, we’ve been proudly serving children and families across New York since 2015. Founded and led by experienced BCBAs and LCSWs, our team has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

We specialize in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs through direct, in-home and in-community ABA therapy. Our goal is to help students increase communication, adaptability, independence, and resilience — all while empowering families with the right tools and support.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (ABA Therapists) to join our team and commit to consistent, weekly therapy schedules with clients in the afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.

Why Join ABS?

  • Competitive pay rates based on your education and experience

  • Consistent weekly schedules that fit after-school and weekend availability

  • Hands-on training and supervision provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Pathway to growth: opportunity to pursue your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive ABA professional network

Responsibilities

As an ABA Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the home or community

  • Implement individualized treatment plans (BIPs) designed by a supervising BCBA

  • Collect data and document session notes daily

  • Use positive reinforcement and redirection strategies effectively

  • Communicate consistently with families, supervisors, and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Background in Psychology, ABA, Education, Special Education, or a related field

  • Prior experience working with children (especially with autism or developmental delays)

  • RBT certification preferred but not required — we provide training!
