Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective support and care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Implement and monitor behavioral interventions, ensuring fidelity to the treatment plan.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in intake processes for new clients, gathering relevant information for assessment.
  • Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to patient assessment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and record keeping practices.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • A passion for improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through effective behavioral interventions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
