- Pay Rate: Up to $70/hr
Requirements:
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) – preferred
- Proven experience supporting students with behavioral challenges in a school setting
- Demonstrated success in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Safety Care training required

Role Overview:
This is a 1-year leave coverage positionwith potential for extension based on performance and fit. The BCBA willsupport grades 3–4 in a co-teaching inclusion classroom witha Amergisum of 25 students.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is designed to supportstudents in grades 1–12 who have been temporarily removed from theirhome school due to significant behavioral crises or ongoing behavioralchallenges. These may include major infractions such as bullying, chronicverbal threats, fighting, and/or harassment. It does not includeinfractions involving drugs, weapons, assault on staff, or minor issues likedress code violations or defiance.
The BCBA will be part of amultidisciplinary team—including teachers and a school adjustmentcounselor—conducting a comprehensive assessment over a period of upto 45 days. The goal is to understand each student’s needs and develop atailored social-emotional-behavioral action plan to support theirsuccessful reintegration into their home school.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing student strengths and challenges
- Collaborating with the home school team to align academic work with grade-level standards
- Developing individualized behavior support plans
- Assisting in the transition process back to the home school with tools and strategies to promote long-term success

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field
- Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools
- One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
