Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Work Supervisor/ Director of Social Worker looking to lead our team in providing high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for program development, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those we serve. This role involves overseeing social work programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering positive relationships within the community. The Director of social worker will oversee two staff social workers as well.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor social work staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Oversee program development and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders to promote effective service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets for social work programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide training on behavioral health practices to staff members as needed.
Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in social work, with a focus on working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Proven management experience, including supervising staff and overseeing program management activities.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse populations.
- Administrative experience in a social service setting is essential.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within social work programs is highly desirable.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
