Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our outpatient private practice team. This role offers part-time to full-time flexibility, starting with 2–3 days per week and growing to 4–5 days. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with Saturday hours currently closed but may open in the future.

The position requires willingness to see patients in person once per week at our Kent office, with the option of providing telehealth services on other days.

Both experienced PMHNPs and new graduates are welcome to apply—we offer mentorship and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Compensation Model

• Percentage-based pay, dependent on insurance panels and caseload.
• Estimated earnings: $100–$220 per hour ($192,000–$422,400 annually).
• 1099 independent contractor position.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to set your own hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, client-centered psychiatric care.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and cognitive assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse mental health needs.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications safely and effectively.
• Offer extended, unrushed appointments to build strong rapport.
• Deliver crisis intervention and mental health education.
• Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, physicians, and other providers.
• Maintain accurate, timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Washington APRN license (or eligible).
• Current Washington DEA registration (or eligible).
• ANCC PMHNP Board Certification.
• Graduate degree from an accredited program.
• PMHNP experience preferred, not required.
• Strong skills in psychiatry, diagnosis, and psychopharmacology.
• Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care.
