We are looking for a passionate, professional, and friendly Community Engagement Specialist to join our Destination Signals team. You will be responsible for engaging local businesses to take advantage of free and paid promotional opportunities on our destination marketing clients’ digital platforms.
You are passionate about the power of digital marketing and understand the positive impact it can make on local businesses. You love creating and building relationships with a diverse community and thrive on helping local businesses grow.
You are just as comfortable presenting to one person via zoom as you are presenting to a crowded room of 100 people.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about tourism, and about making a positive impact through the power of digital marketing.
- Working closely with our clients to develop outreach strategies to engage local community members.
- Building new relationships with the local community through phone / video calls, emails, and social media.
- Creating email marketing campaigns to engage and educate local community members.
- Leveraging your relationship building and sales skills to create tailored ad recommendations to local businesses.
- Keeping our CRM information updated, and analyzing data for trends and opportunities.
- Managing documents, reports and agreements through G-suite.
- Occasionally traveling to meet face to face with our clients and their local community (1 -2 trips per quarter).
- Proficiency in Google Apps for Business

- Professional communication style in email, phone and in person
- Positive attitude
- Knowledge of digital media (programmatic, display, ppc, email, social)
- Sales experience in local business/partner relationship sales
- Experience in outbound sales
