Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents to improve their overall well-being.
• Assist residents with mobility and physical activities while ensuring safety.
• Engage with residents in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction, especially for those in memory care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as required.
• Provide personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in senior care and memory care is preferred
• Provide care and assist with ADLs
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
• Uphold a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Certification in CPR is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents, healthcare professionals, visitors and their families.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• One shift required per month
