Recon Shop Service Coordinator/Reconditioning Manager

Earn from $50,000 to $75,000+ /yr+ (Based on Exp/Skill)

$50,000/year BASE SALARY + PRODUCTION BONUS

We have successfully been in business for over 20 years! We have TONS of work and as a result, our shop is in need of a Service Coordinator to oversee and manage the reconditioning process, to ensure our vehicles are efficiently prepared for the front line and ready for sale.

We are looking for:

• A problem solver
• Strong customer service skills
• Understanding of what a repair order is
• Basic automotive maintenance knowledge
• Basic automotive parts and repair knowledge (ideally equivalent to a Main Line Service Advisor/Writer) is Preferred
• Ability to logically determine what repair issues are most urgent
• High attention to detail for accuracy in completing paperwork
• Bilingual English with Haitian Creole and/or Spanish (a PLUS, not required)

Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and manage the reconditioning process, ensuring vehicles are efficiently prepared for the front line and ready for sale
• Maintain a steady flow of reconditioned inventory while meeting quality standards
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely delivery of vehicles
• Check in inventory upon arrival
• Communicate with customers regarding the progress of repairs on their vehicles
• Handle customer repairs professionally and promptly
• Create repair orders for technicians
• Assign work to technicians based on priority and skill set
• Order parts needed for repairs
• Complete all paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
