We are seeking a compassionate Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide mental health evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions at a community health center.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor medications and adjust plans based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure integrated, holistic care.
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement efforts.
- Provide crisis intervention and manage psychiatric emergencies.
- Supervise psychiatric staff as needed and stay current with industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Minimum requirements include an MD or DO in Psychiatry, 3-5 years of experience, valid NY license, and board certification or eligibility.
