Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing support to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves working with clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, in both individual and group settings. The Counselor will utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being and assist clients in achieving their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations for new clients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to encourage peer support and shared experiences.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical research to enhance therapeutic skills.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions as needed.
• Offer support for clients dealing with grief, trauma, addiction, or developmental disabilities.

Acceptable Licenses

• LPC
• LCSW
• LCDC
• LP
• Provisionally licensed therapists will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
