Blazer Jobs is now hiring a dedicated Behavior Technician to support K12 students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral/emotional challenges in a school district near Tallahassee, FL. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student growth through structured behavioral interventions.
Position Overview:
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work under the guidance of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collect data, and provide consistent support for students across classroom settings. This role is essential to creating a safe and productive learning environment for students who require one-on-one or small-group behavioral assistance.

Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):
Full-time placement during the school year

Weekly pay: $22$30/hour, depending on experience and certification
Travel Path (W-2 with Perks):
Flexible contract options with relocation support
Weekly gross: $1,200$1,500+, based on tax-free stipends and hours worked
Housing and per diem for qualified travelers
Licensure/credentialing assistance (if applicable)
Weekly pay: $30$35+/hour, depending on travel status and experience
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior plans created by supervising BCBA
Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students in classroom settings
Track behaviors and skill acquisition data using ABA-aligned systems
Assist with social skills training, self-regulation strategies, and daily routines
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and family members to reinforce behavioral goals
Requirements:
High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
RBT certification preferred but not required (on-the-job training available)
Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs
Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance
Strong communication and classroom management skills
