Blazer Jobs is now hiring a dedicated Behavior Technician to support K12 students with autism spectrum disorders and behavioral/emotional challenges in a school district near Tallahassee, FL. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student growth through structured behavioral interventions.

Position Overview:
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work under the guidance of a BCBA to implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collect data, and provide consistent support for students across classroom settings. This role is essential to creating a safe and productive learning environment for students who require one-on-one or small-group behavioral assistance.

  • Housing and per diem for qualified travelers

  • Licensure/credentialing assistance (if applicable)

  • Weekly pay: $30$35+/hour, depending on travel status and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior plans created by supervising BCBA

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support to students in classroom settings

  • Track behaviors and skill acquisition data using ABA-aligned systems

  • Assist with social skills training, self-regulation strategies, and daily routines

  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and family members to reinforce behavioral goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

  • RBT certification preferred but not required (on-the-job training available)

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs

  • Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
