A K-12 Social Worker is needed to provide support and resources to students within a school setting, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral development. This contract opportunity spans the entire school year and is based in Brighton, MI, with flexibility for virtual candidates to serve schools located in Manchester, MI. The role requires a commitment of two days per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments to identify students' social and emotional needs
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention services
• Connecting students and families with community resources and support
• Documenting cases and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with policies

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) with necessary licensure or certification
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings
