The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Clinic Services Coordinator to lead and oversee clinic operations across all psychiatry outpatient services. This role provides administrative leadership for clinic support staff and ensures smooth coordination of patient visit activities—before, during, and after appointments.

- Manage daily operations of outpatient clinic support functions.
- Oversee and maintain the master schedule for providers.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance patient and staff experiences.
- Ensure efficient workflows for patient visits and business operations.
- Plan and coordinate clinical support needs and activities.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of clinic support staff.
- Coordinate staff schedules and coverage.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery.
- Identify and resolve operational issues.
Supervision is received from the Clinic Manager as well as clinical medical directors.
Supervision is exercised over all front-line staff, scheduling staff, students, and some floating medical assistant staff members.
Schedule: M-F, day shift. No weekends or holidays.
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of 1-year administrative experience.
- Knowledge of patient scheduling, scheduling workflows, and electronic scheduling systems.
- Occasional evening coverage may be required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications.
- Experience in customer service and in a patient care field
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience scheduling in a clinic setting.
- Supervisory experience of clinical staff.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle many projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
- EPIC and Cadence or other electronic medical records experience.
- Experience in an academic medical center.
