What You'll Be Doing

This is a federal entitlement grant funded position and may end upon loss of grant funding

Wake County’s Short-term Rent, Mortgage and Utility (STRMU) Program for people living with HIV/AIDS helps change the lives of people in our community everyday! STRMU provides short-term, stabilizing interventions to households experiencing a financial crisis because of their HIV health condition or a change in their economic circumstances. STRMU is designed to prevent households from becoming homeless by helping them remain in their own dwellings and when utilized together with other efforts, including access to health care services, case management, benefits counseling and employment or vocational services, works to stabilize assisted households.

We are currently seeking a passionate team player with case management experience working directly with homeless and disabled individuals and families to join us as a Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA) – Social Worker.

Come make a difference in our community and grow your career in a rewarding and meaningful way with Team Wake!
