Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The Social Worker will provide support through assessment, intervention, and advocacy for clients facing various challenges, including mental health issues, developmental disabilities, and family dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients dealing with mental health challenges, addiction issues, or developmental disabilities.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and effective case management.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and contribute to the field of social work.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in social work.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working with children, families, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in EMR systems for managing patient records and documentation.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is beneficial.
- Strong skills in crisis management, behavioral therapy, case management, and patient assessment.
- Knowledge of PTSD care techniques and addiction counseling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while providing compassionate care to clients.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,736.56 - $2,081.34 per week
