A respected nonprofit organization in New Jersey is seeking Mental Health Clinicians to join their Behavioral Health team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about providing trauma-informed care and mental health support to diverse communities. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling focused on mental health and substance use.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including biopsychosocial evaluations and mental status exams.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Utilize DSM-5 TR for diagnostic purposes and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops on topics such as anxiety, depression, and caregiver support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records using approved documentation systems.
• Ensure timely follow-up and referrals to community resources.
• Prepare monthly reports and maintain client data in electronic health record systems.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and agency protocols.
• Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and collaborative initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local service providers and stakeholders.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to program development.
• Attend ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries in all interactions.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LCADC, etc.).
• Experience in mental health and substance use counseling.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed care and client-centered service.
