CLINICAL DIRECTOR: Substance Use and Addiction Program

Job Purpose:
Clinical Director – Lead with Purpose in Addiction Treatment

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and dedicated Clinical Director to join our rapidly growing substance use and addiction treatment facility in New Jersey. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee and guide our Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based care to individuals on their path to recovery.

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage the daily operations of our addictions staff and program operations.
2. Conduct weekly clinical supervision for Licensed and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADCs) and other clinical staff.
3. Coordinate and ensure adherence to state agency requirements (SAI, Drug Court, State parole, IDRC, DMHAS, Medicaid).
4. Develop, implement and update program policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory standards..
5. Conduct intake assessments, including mental status exams, to evaluate clients' needs.
6. Oversee and ensure regulatory compliance, including Quality Assurance processes and documentation.
7. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to track and communicate client progress in daily meetings..
8. Compile and submit provider applications to HMOs, state agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Qualifications:
1. Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in NJ.

2. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NJ.

3. Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) or Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).

4. Minimum 2+ years post-licensure management and clinical supervisory experience in Addictions and Mental Health.

5. Minimum 4+ years working in Addictions and Mental Health treatment settings.

Program Overview:
Our Partial Care and IOP program offers comprehensive, evidence-based substance abuse treatment, including:

• Partial Care: Intensive, structured services for adults with substance use disorders.
• Intensive Outpatient (IOP): Evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse.
• Outpatient (OP) Services: Individual and group counseling for ongoing recovery support.
