Georgetown Counseling and Wellness is a group practice of helping professionals in Georgetown, TX working to enhance the mental well-being of children, adults, families, and couples in our community. We are seeking a fully-licensed, dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team and provide outpatient individual and couple's therapy to clients of Georgetown Counseling and Wellness.
Clinical therapy services include treatment of children, teens, adults and couples. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide counseling and support to individuals of all ages who are experiencing mental health challenges. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and couple's therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely client records, including progress notes, treatment plans and billing records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the mental health field.
Experience:
- Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and HIPAA regulations
- Preferred two years of experience providing direct clinical services
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work with children, teens, adults and couples
- Empathy and compassion for clients dealing with mental health issues
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload effectively and complete progress notes and treatment plans in a timely manner.
Hours: Therapist has the opportunity to develop a flexible work schedule. It is expected that the Therapist will be available to hold at least 15 sessions per week. Client sessions are held in the offices of Georgetown Counseling and Wellness, and virtually if requested by client.

Pay: $81,635.84 - $98,314.13 per year
