Responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake appointments, complete comprehensive cognitive, neurodevelopmental, and socioemotional evaluations, write comprehensive evaluation reports, and engage in final feedback appointments with the family. The intent is to determine the child’s need for mental or behavioral health services.
- Work with a team of psychometricians to improve capacity and provide supervision and comprehensive interpretation of instruments administered.
- Provide counseling/psychotherapy sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services. These services include individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Persons served often include individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families, when appropriately indicated for talk-based therapies.
- Maintain all documentation required by the clinic including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
