Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Active state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker (per state requirements)

• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and support services for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges

• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and support strategies

• Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings as needed

• Collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to improve student outcomes

• Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community resources

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and licensing requirements
