WE ARE HIRING FOR A PART-TIME BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN.

• PORTAGE PARK // 15-30 HOURS // DAY TIME
• JEFFERSON PARK // 15 HOURS // EARLY EVENINGS

Job Duties:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
• Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate behaviors
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Support in the creation of client materials

Ideal candidate will hopefully meet one of the following:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (Certification active) or
• with the WANT to work with children with SPECIAL NEEDS or
• CURRENTLY IN SCHOOL and WANTING PART TIME work
• Previous experience working with children and would consider becoming an Registered Behavior Technician within the first 90 days (we'll help you get there)!

• RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION (travel to client's home)
• Previous experience working with ASD or other developmental disabilities
• Enjoy interacting and playing with kids (WE'RE LOOKING FUN PEOPLE)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to pass a background check
