Job Summary:
The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is looking for an affiliate faculty to teach one section of Psychological Disorders (previously called Abnormal Psychology) for the fall semester of 2025. The courses run from August 25 through December 12 and must be taught in person. Affiliate faculty are required to meet in-person with the class twice per week for 75 minutes and hold 1 hour of office hours per week, in person or online. The class meets on Tues/Thurs 8:00-9:15am on Regis University's Northwest Denver campus (near Federal and I-70). Class size will be approximately 24-30 students. Most students in this class are typically pursuing bachelor's degrees in psychology or pre-health fields.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Courses must be taught in person. The affiliate faculty will be responsible for all aspects of running the course, including course design, teaching, grading, and student support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters in clinical/counseling psychology, social work, or related field
Graduate students currently pursuing their doctoral degree are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
PsyD or PhD in clinical/counseling psychology or related field
Previous teaching experience or experience in course design is preferred.

Work Schedule: Tues/Thurs 8:00-9:15am, plus 60 minutes of office hours a week

These positions are benefits-eligible for workers' compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
