C.B.E.S.T., now proudly part of The Stepping Stones Group, is hiring full time school-based Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for kiddos with behavioral needs in the East LA area!
What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students with moderate to severe behaviors (e.g., aggression, elopement) in a school setting
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Case Supervisors
- Support students in developing functional communication, social skills, academic success, and daily living abilities
- Collect, summarize, and organize behavioral data
- Maintain consistent attendance and demonstrate professional communication with staff and supervisors
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with ASD or other special needs required
- Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:50am - 3:30pm, 30 hours per week
- Able to pass criminal background check and TB test
- Reliable transportation required
- Physically able to kneel, run short distances, and lift up to 25 lbs
- ABA experience and knowledge of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Safety Care (QBS) strongly preferred
