Mental Health Clinic Looking for a Master's Level Therapist, LCSW is Preferred:
Cooperate with other professionals(Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Therapists) to evaluate patient's medical or physical condition and to assess patients needs
- A Licensed Clinical Social Worker is needed to provide therapy to our adult(20%) and pediatric patients(80%).
- The Clinical Social Worker will function as a member of an interdisciplinary team to support our patients with emotional, physical, and social well-being.
- The optimal candidate would be well-versed in adult, adolescent, and children's therapy and counselor must understand medical terms and diagnoses pertaining to behavioral medicine.
- Advocate for patients to resolve crises
- Collaborate with other professionals to assess patients need or plan treatments
- investigate child abuse or neglect cases and take authorized protective action when necessary
- Interview patients to gather information about their backgrounds, needs, or progress
- Refer patients to the community or social service programs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong crisis intervention skills
- Excellent short-term counseling skills
- Refer individuals to educational or work programs
- Prior experience will be preferred
- Must be a team player, dependable, punctual, and self-learner
- Virtual training will be provided
- This position requires work from office
Qualifications for Clinical Therapist: must be licensed
