On Call Addiction Treatment Counselors

CCLI is looking for two On Call Addiction Treatment Counselors with generous hearts and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing "care with dignity and life with hope."



Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group and family sessions, provide psycho-education to clients, screen and assess clients, offer treatment planning and discharge planning.
  • Perform general intake and admission activities for clients accepted for admission based on the regulations of the OASAS Part 820.
  • Maintain client chart documentation on assigned client caseload.
  • Provide client training on medication assisted treatment and Narcan administration.
  • Complete all regulatory reporting as per the OASAS Part 820, following admissions and discharge policies and procedures, relapse prevention protocols, monthly statistical reports, and bed monitoring.
  • Oversee CASAC-Trainees and CASAC Trainee Interns, and review program documentation as a qualified health professional.
  • Assist in reviewing entitlements eligibility and assist case management with enrolling clients into insurance eligible programs.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's a plus.
  • Must have CASAC or CASAC-T.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license.

Rate of Pay: CASAC-T - $23/Hour CASAC - $28/hour

Work Schedule: Varying 12.5 shifts according to need either 8 AM 8:30 PM OR 8 PM to 8:30 AM

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
