Community Prevention and Social Work Facilitator

We work with law enforcement agencies globally to identify, arrest, and prosecute traffickers and provide comprehensive care for our survivors. Our Rescue Community Prevention
Our Rescue has an exciting opportunity to create and strengthen anti-trafficking systems in communities. The Our Rescue community prevention model serves as nexus across prevention audiences and efforts to empower communities to reduce vulnerability and build resilience through collaboration, coordination, awareness raising, and support for survivors.
Our Rescue will work with communities to develop tailored prevention efforts, which will include a Community Prevention Toolkit that contains the templates and guidance for the various tools. Organizations and communities will work in conjunction with Our Rescue to apply Toolkit content within a specific community.

The Community Prevention Social Work Facilitator will play an integral role in engaging and cultivating anti-trafficking systems in communities. This is a part-time contracted position working a maximum of 20 hours per month. This position will be under general direction from the Vice President of Community Impact, with wide latitude for initiative and judgment, the preferred candidate will be responsible for the following:

Description
The Community Prevention Social Work Facilitator will play an integral role in engaging and cultivating anti-trafficking systems in communities. This is a part-time contracted position working a maximum of 20 hours per month. This position will be under general direction from the Vice President of Community Impact, with wide latitude for initiative and judgment, the preferred candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Liaising among and developing relationships with various social service providers to eventually participate in a community-level anti-trafficking task force;
- Implementing a community needs assessment and co-developing a capacity strengthening plan among social service providers with the Vice President of Community Impact.
- Designing, organizing, and facilitating meetings and training efforts among social service personnel.
- Developing relevant protocols and resources for social service personnel.
- Sharing information about community needs and coordinating to get those needs covered with Our Rescue, as needed.
- Providing training and outreach on various Human Trafficking topics, particularly around among social service staff and organizations.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
- A bachelor degree, from an accredited college or university and seven years of community engagement experience or a master degree and five years of community engagement experience.
- Experience working with survivors of human trafficking.
- Experience working with medical and nonprofit organizations.
- Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data on human trafficking.
- Strong experience with and appreciation for project management and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Strong organizational, analytical, proofreading, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Forms.
- Ability to problem solve, while balancing competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, externally and internally.
- Experience leading and/or participating in community-prevention models.
- Experience leading and/or participating in anti-trafficking task forces.
