CBHC Bachelor's Level Counselor
The CBHC Bachelor's Level Counselors will provide support to the master's level clinicians in providing crisis intervention, intake assistance, and crisis stabilization services to individuals and families in evaluation and care. They help support individuals and their families and perform a variety of supportive tasks such as assisting with the implementation of the disposition determined by the master's-level clinician, completing intake paperwork, and making necessary referrals as needed.
Open 7 days per week, with the intention of offering the right service at the right time, all shifts are available. The right candidate will have a Bachelor's-level degree or significant experience in the field. They will also need to be able to pass a CORI and driving background check. There will be many optional (and some required) trainings in evidence based care including ARC, de-escalation training, TF-CBT, Zero Suicide Framework, and Multi-Systemic Family Therapy.
Essential Functions:
- Providing support and supervision to clients
- Assisting clinician in communication with collateral contacts
- Collaboration with Mobile Crisis Intervention around admissions
- Ability to problem solve, de-escalate, and manage conflict
- Run skills group for clients during shift
- Understanding and utilize electronic health record
- Serve to model professional service delivery, where client safety and trauma-informed care is held in highest regard
- Candidates should have some experience working with youth and or in the mental health field.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field.
- Prior experience in Crisis or Crisis stabilization preferred but not required.
Salary:
- $21.63/hour, with additional differentials built in for 2nd shift, weekend, and overnight hours (+$2/hour).
Schedule:
- Full-time: Sunday-Thursday 9a-5p or Tuesday-Saturday 9a-5p
- Part-time: Varying days on 2nd and 3rd shift
- Per-diem slots are also available
