Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective care and support.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on findings.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their needs and history.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience in behavioral therapy or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, medical terminology, and documentation of medical records.
  • Ability to conduct patient care effectively while adhering to ethical standards in behavioral health.
