Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing addiction and related issues
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including data collection and coding using ICD-10
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Provide education and support to clients' families regarding addiction and recovery

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Certification or licensure as an addiction counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC)
- Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and evidence-based practices
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system for data collection purposes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Experience in behavior management techniques is a plus
