Location: Scarsdale, New York

Pay Rate: Up to $70 / hour

As a school-based Clinical Psychologist in Scarsdale, New York, your days will include:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for preschool-aged children.
  • Develop and implement behavior plans and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Provide counseling and crisis support for students with behavioral, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists in classroom-based teams.
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Position: Contract 20252026 Academic Year in a school setting

  • Monday / Tuesday / Thursday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM 2:30 PM

Caseload: Preschool students ages 35 with speech/language impairments, cognitive delays, behavioral needs, and other developmental challenges. Classrooms operate under 8:1:2 and 12:1:2 staffing models to ensure individualized attention and developmental support.

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program (required)
  • New York State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Experience in early childhood, developmental disabilities, or school-based settings (preferred)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and team collaboration skills
  • The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
