About Us:
Cedar Pet Supply is Southern Utah’s destination for pets, pet supplies, and animal care expertise. Our team is passionate about animals and committed to providing excellent care to every pet in our store — from puppies and birds to fish and reptiles. We are currently seeking two dedicated team members to join our St. George location:
- Kennel Manager (Full Time – 40 hrs/week)
- Animal Care Technician (30+ hrs/week)
Position 1 – Kennel Manager (Full Time – 40 hrs/week):
We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee daily kennel operations, including feeding, cleaning, animal health checks, and managing kennel staff. Reptile knowledge is a plus, but leadership, animal handling, and organizational skills are essential.
Position 2 – Animal Care Technician (30+ hrs/week):
This hands-on role focuses on daily care of animals, especially reptiles, fish, and small mammals. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning enclosures, monitoring animal health, and assisting customers with pet care advice.
Requirements (Both Positions):
- Must have reptile experience or a strong willingness to learn (reptile experience highly preferred)
- Previous animal care or kennel management experience preferred
- Must have own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to work Sundays
- Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented, dependable, and passionate about animals
