Counselor – Women's Trauma IOP (Evening Program)
Location: High Focus Centers – Jenkintown, PA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Flexible hours on Friday (In-person)
Compensation: $52,000 – $55,000/year (commensurate with experience and credentials)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Counselor to join our Evening Women's Trauma Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role involves providing group and individual therapy to adult women with trauma histories, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address each client's unique clinical needs. The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, experienced in group facilitation, and dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for healing.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate daily IOP group therapy sessions for women using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, CPT) in a trauma-focused setting
Provide individual counseling as clinically appropriate
Conduct intake and level-of-care assessments (approximately 4–6 per week)
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
Participate in daily clinical team meetings to review progress and coordinate care
Complete insurance reviews and maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure a supportive and consistent therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field (required)
Completion of a clinically based internship or practicum (required)
Experience providing trauma-informed care and working with women's mental health concerns (preferred)
Trauma-informed care training or certification is a plus
