A BCBA-Independently owned agency is seeking dedicated and reliable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality, in-home and/or community-based ABA therapy services as independent contractors. As an RBT, you will implement behavior intervention plans developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and work one-on-one with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities between 18 and 36 months old.
This is a 1099 contractor position, offering flexible hours and autonomy over your schedule while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home, school, or community settings
- Follow behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs developed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record data accurately during each session
- Communicate progress and concerns to the BCBA
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards as outlined by the BACB
- Participate in required supervision sessions and team meetings
Requirements:
- Active RBT certification through the BACB
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently as a contractor
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and any state-required clearances
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of RBT experience
- Experience with early intervention or working with young children
- Bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or other language) is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification
