Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support within a medical office setting. The Patient Care Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing the flow of patient care. This part-time, permanent opportunity would be a great career move for someone with strong administration/customer service skills looking to join a growing team.

Key details:

  • Permanent, part-time position
  • Typical hours will be 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday (28 hours / week)
  • Training weeks will be different days/hours
  • Onsite position at our Miami clinic (Bird Road)

Responsibilities

  • Customer service - Act as the key point of contact for patients visiting our clinic and calling our clinic by greeting them, answering questions, and addressing their concerns to ensure that they have a world-class experience.
  • Scheduling and schedule balancing - Scheduling, rescheduling and performing follow-up and reminder calls for appointments. Confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of time slots.
  • General administration and office tasks - Ordering supplies, maintaining a welcoming office environment, and maintaining electronic medical records accurate and up to date. Provide information to patients regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
  • Sanitation and hearing device troubleshooting - Assist clinical team members with sanitization and equipment and perform basic hearing aid maintenance.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or administrative capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Bilingual (fluent reading and writing English and Spanish).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Proficiency in office software applications is beneficial for managing schedules and records.
  • Associate's Degree (strongly preferred).
