Position Overview: The Road Service Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our fleet moving safely and efficiently. This position serves as the central point of contact for handling equipment breakdowns and roadside emergencies, working closely with drivers, operations, and safety personnel. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication skills with problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of trucking operations to deliver timely and effective solutions.

Schedule: Rotating schedule: Thursday - Saturday, every other Wednesday | 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. | 12 hour shifts

• The schedule alternates between working four days followed by three days off, and then working three days followed by four days off.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle incoming communications, including calls and emails, from 10 Roads' operations team, drivers, and safety personnel.
• Collect, categorize, and maintain information within the Road Service App database.
• Utilize a thorough understanding of 10 Roads' resources to recommend effective solutions for equipment breakdowns.
• Provide telephonic assistance to drivers, guiding them through diagnostic procedures to identify issues with equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors, overseeing the dispatch process and managing payments as required.
• Process and associate invoices with corresponding work orders for streamlined billing.
• Input and manage work order data in the Maintenance Manager database.
• Flexible availability.

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of call center and/or trucking and logistic industry experience.
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
• Basic background & knowledge on Class 8 diesel trucks preferred.
• Capacity to learn & increase mechanical knowledge.
• Parts/Service experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check and not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years.
• Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English.
