Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Work Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a deep understanding of social work practices, ensuring that our programs are effective and aligned with best practices in behavioral health. This role requires a passionate individual who is committed to fostering positive relationships with both clients and staff while overseeing program development and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor social work staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including families, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee administrative functions related to program management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing social work practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in social work, behavioral health, and relationship management.
Skills
- Strong management skills with experience in supervising teams in a social work or related environment.
- Proven ability in program development and management, particularly within the context of services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent relationship management skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and community partners.
- Administrative experience that includes budgeting and resource management within a social service setting.
- In-depth knowledge of social work principles and practices, particularly as they relate to behavioral health.

Required Qualifications
- Education & Licensure:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with women, children, and families, preferably in maternal & child health.
- Proven crisis intervention experience with CPS involvement, domestic violence, and/or mental health cases.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
