Altamira Material Solutions is the industry leader in PTFE molding, paste extrusion, plastics machining, and fabrication. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team. The molding process takes time and requires a patient methodical thinker who enjoys seeing projects through to completion. This position is located at our facility in NW Houston inside the Northwest Industrial Center.

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Load molds with proper materials and operate equipment with established procedures to produce preformed parts. 
  •  Use measuring devices and perform such operations to assure conformance of the end product to dimensional specifications.
  •  Responsible for the proper utilization of tools and equipment necessary to produce molded products in accordance with engineering standards.
  •  Maintain cleanliness relative to the equipment and to the molds after such operations have been performed.
  •  Ensure that all tools are in good operating condition when molder places them in storage
  •  Operate a forklift truck, hoist, or crane.
  •  Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and maintain accurate records and job history

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Accredited High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.
  • Forklift experience, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a professional demeanor.
  • Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

  • Be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Be able to reach overhead

  • Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
  • Be able to lift and/or move 35 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
