We are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in our Auburndale clinic.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for patients .

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Provide patient education and ongoing support
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation in our EMR system
• Promote good health practices

Skills

• Valid nurse practitioner license
• Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting. Experience with home visits/house calls preferred
• Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Knowledge of best practices for pts with many different types of health insurance
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit, positive attitude
• Patience and cool-headedness
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
