Here is the job description for the role:
Summary: The Guest Services Coordinator is all about creating compelling environments where people feel welcome and open to experiencing God’s Truth. This experience starts the moment a guest steps onto the parking lot, all the way to taking a seat in the auditorium. A passion for welcoming and connecting with people and mobilizing the hundreds of team members it takes to create a compelling guest services environment is necessary for success in this role. Possess a desire to move and align individuals from interested to invested in a serving opportunity. All this is to live out our mission as a church to Introduce our friends to Jesus, Learn to follow Him, and celebrate His Presence in our lives.

Primary Responsibilities
Experience in how to create a great customer experience to inspire repeat attendance
Possess a natural ability for creating engaging environments and events with big picture perspective
Excels at effective communication, a champion of organization, and refines details for optimal guest service experience
Enjoy organizing project, tasks, and events engaging team members and staff support
Scheduling, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory at reasonable levels without waste or excess
Strategic in recruiting, developing, and retaining team members specific to Guest Services & Next Steps
Intimate knowledge of all on campus ministries and proficiency in utilizing our next steps process to move individuals from
interested to invested
People development must be a passion in order to engage a diverse team and encourage the team to serve with high
energy and commitment.
Maintain accurate records of all team members, team groups, etc. in The Rock and ensure that team leaders have the most
up to date information.
- Weekly Time Allocation (40 hours): Weekend Service - 20%, Meetings - 10%, Training/Development - 40%, Relational Equity

Personal Responsibilities
- Live a life worthy of the calling as taught in Ephesians 4
- Demonstrated follower of Jesus Christ as described in 1 Timothy
- Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside of the church
- Faithfully tithing consistently at least 10% of all personal income to God’s work through The Cove Church
- Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of The Cove Church employees, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook
