Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and advocacy to individuals and families in need, focusing on crisis intervention, child welfare, and behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide counseling and support services to clients dealing with crisis situations
• Assist clients in accessing community resources such as Section 8 housing and Medicare benefits
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients to make positive changes
• Supervise and monitor client progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Offer addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues

Skills

• Proficient in crisis management and intervention strategies
• Knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures
• Experience working with Section 8 housing programs
• Strong motivational interviewing skills to engage clients in treatment
• Ability to supervise and mentor other staff members effectively
• Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and resources
• Background in social work, behavioral health, and Medicare regulations
