Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in providing therapeutic support to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, to address various mental health challenges through evidence-based practices.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and clinical counseling services utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on crisis intervention, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including case management and coordination of services.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries.
  • Engage in clinical research and data collection to contribute to the advancement of best practices in social work and mental health care.
  • Offer support for families dealing with developmental disabilities, PTSD care, Alzheimer's care, and other related issues.
  • Utilize EMR systems for efficient record-keeping and communication within the healthcare team.

Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in social work with specific experience in the following areas:

  • Psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Child & family counseling with experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Home & community care experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is essential.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
  • Background in geriatrics or special education can enhance the candidate's fit for this role.
