About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and highly qualified Remote School Psychologist to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of K12 students across Ohio. In this fully remote position, you will work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to help create supportive, inclusive, and legally compliant learning environments, in alignment with the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services in compliance with Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities.

Write clear, data-driven, and legally compliant psychoeducational reports that inform IEP planning.

Participate in IEP and Evaluation Team Report (ETR) meetings via virtual platforms.

Deliver virtual counseling, behavioral consultation, and intervention services.

Collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers to implement evidence-based interventions.

Support students and staff in virtual crisis prevention and response protocols.

Monitor student progress and provide timely recommendations to support learning and behavioral goals.

Maintain accurate, secure documentation and comply with FERPA, HIPAA, and Ohio-specific privacy and education regulations.

Stay informed on best practices in tele-assessment and virtual service delivery, particularly those relevant to Ohio education law.
Qualifications
-
Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Valid Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License for School Psychology.

Experience working with K12 students; remote service experience preferred.

Skilled in virtual assessments, report writing, and consultation.

In-depth knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education procedures.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Proficiency in virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and digital assessment tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual or multilingual professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience working with diverse populations and applying culturally responsive practices.

Familiarity with remote assessment platforms such as Q-interactive, Pearsons Q-global, Riverside Insights, or similar systems.
