Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on promoting emotional well-being and enhancing the quality of life for clients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, including those dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Offer support and counseling for geriatric clients, addressing their unique challenges and concerns.
  • Conduct psychological testing as needed to inform treatment decisions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation workshops for clients and their families to promote understanding of mental health issues.

Skills

  • Proficient in mental health counseling techniques with a focus on psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and understanding their specific needs.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Strong skills in individual and group counseling, fostering a supportive environment for clients.
  • Familiarity with maintaining medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to provide effective PTSD care through specialized therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Capacity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adapting approaches as necessary.
