Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Cambridge, MA. This contract position spans the normal school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the academic and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Analyze and interpret data to guide decision-making and support student achievement
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and support needs
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for service in K-12 settings
- Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and providing counseling in schools
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice
