Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Therapist to join our team in San Bernardino. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling, with a focus on providing therapeutic support to families and individuals facing various challenges. This role involves working with adult clients promoting mental wellness and facilitate healing through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate with Spanish speaking patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Focusing on client safety, therapeutic relationships, and treatment facilitation
• Completes paperwork to support mental health billing in a timely manner.
• Attends and participates in a variety of internal and external meetings.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Is engaged and facilitates outreach initiatives
• Must be self-directed and work productively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must be fluent in Spanish (Mandatory Requirement)
• Experience documenting on EMR system ECW
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and families.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and ICD-10 coding is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of family therapy.

Job Type: Part-time & Full-Time positions available

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
