Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping clients achieve their goals through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, fostering independence and improving quality of life.
Responsibilities (In-home and Community ONLY)
- Implement individualized care plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress and behaviors.
- Assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with BCBAs to modify treatment plans as necessary based on data collected.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information.
- Document all interactions and interventions in medical records as required.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies for improvement.
- Provide support to families by educating them on behavioral strategies and techniques.
Experience (Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or have completed 40 hrs training)
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral health principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical documentation processes related to behavioral health services.
- Proficiency in data collection methods used in applied behavior analysis.
- Previous experience developing care plans or working within a therapeutic environment is advantageous.

- A laptop/Ipad (preferred)
- Bachelors preferred (High school, associates, Bachelor master’s in Psychology, Education, or related field a plus)
- Ability to actively engage clients during sessions, go from sitting to standing unassisted and lift 50lbs
- Experience in ABA therapy, childcare, education, or related field a plus!
- Ability to pass a background check
