Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


Two full-time school psychologist positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year in Aurora, IL, serving K-12 students. One role is based in an elementary school setting, while the other supports a high school environment. These contracts extend over the full academic year and offer an opportunity to contribute to the mental health and academic success of students across diverse grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support to students to address mental health concerns, stress, and behavioral challenges
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Maintain compliance with state laws and educational policies

Qualifications:

  • Illinois School Psychology license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) issued through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
