Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a K-12 school located in The Villages, FL, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing psychological services across a diverse K-12 caseload in an onsite setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support student learning and mental health
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Provide counseling and interventions to promote academic and social-emotional success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to behavioral and academic planning
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong understanding of educational and psychological assessment tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
